Business Analyst
About the role:
We are seeking an experienced business analyst to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have 6-8 years of non-technical business analysis experience, strong stakeholder management skills, and a proven track record of driving process improvements and delivering strategic insights to support organizational goals.
Responsibilities:
Elicit, document, and analyze business requirements from stakeholders across functions
Develop process maps, workflow diagrams, and business cases to support decision making
Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather requirements and validate solutions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of business objectives and project deliverables
Perform gap analysis and recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency
Monitor project progress and report on key metrics, risks, and issues to senior management
Support user acceptance testing by developing test cases and coordinating test execution
Prepare clear and concise reports, presentations, and status updates for stakeholders
Required qualifications:
6-8 years of business analysis experience in a non-technical capacity
Proven ability to gather and document requirements, conduct process modeling, and perform gap analysis
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting to senior stakeholders
Experience facilitating workshops and stakeholder interviews
Proficient in business process documentation tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart) and MS Office suite
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Preferred qualifications:
Experience working in Abu Dhabi or the wider UAE market
Certification in business analysis (CBAP, PMI-PBA, or equivalent)
MBA or advanced degree in business, finance, or related field
Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies
Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and compliance standards in the Middle East
