Team Lead, Incoming Quality Inspection – Business Unit RDS
We are looking for an experienced Team Lead to oversee our Incoming Quality Inspection team within Supplier Quality. In this role, you will combine operational leadership with hands-on quality work, ensuring incoming materials and components meet Aimpoint's high standards while supporting and developing a team of quality specialists and engineers.
This position offers an exciting combination of operational and leadership responsibilities, providing you with a vital role in ensuring product quality while contributing to the ongoing development and continuous improvement of our operations.
As Team Lead, Incoming Inspection, you will be responsible for leading, planning, and allocating the team's work in accordance with established processes, procedures, and policies. At the same time, you will remain close to the operation and actively participate in daily quality activities. Together with the Quality Control team, Supplier Quality Specialists (SQS), and Senior Measurement Specialists, you will help drive an efficient, high-quality, and well-functioning incoming inspection process for incoming materials.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coordinate, and distribute work within the team in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Ensure the development, composition, and capability of the team to create optimal collaboration and performance.
- Perform ongoing quality inspections in accordance with inspection instructions using existing equipment.
- Report non-conformities and deviations according to established processes.
- Carry out documentation and administrative tasks related to quality activities.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality control processes and optimize incoming inspection levels.
- Maintain a well-organized and safe work environment.
- Execute special projects and assignments in collaboration with the Supplier Quality Manager.

We Are Looking for Someone Who Has
- Experience in leadership roles involving planning, coordinating, and allocating work.
- Experience leading teams within a technical, manufacturing, or quality-related environment.
- Strong metrology and measurement expertise, with the ability to train, onboard, and mentor new team members.
- Relevant education in Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, Production, or a related field.
- An analytical and results-driven mindset with a strong focus on quality and continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate fluently in both Swedish and English, verbally and in writing.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in incoming inspection and quality assurance within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience working with quality processes and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, including GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
- Experience with Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and measurement analysis.
- Experience using PC-DMIS or similar measurement software.
- Proficiency with manual measuring tools such as calipers, gauges, and visual inspection techniques.
- Experience working with ERP systems, preferably Jeeves, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms.

The salary range for an Team Lead, Incoming Inspection is SEK 38 000– 43 000 depending on experience and qualifications.
