Engineer to Aimpoint AB

For the Technical Analysis and Verification department at Aimpoint, we are seeking a meticulous and driven engineer with high analytical ability. We can offer an exciting technical position in an innovative operation among very competent and dedicated colleagues. Aimpoint develops and produces red dot sights and advanced sighting systems.

Tasks

You will participate in development projects. You will work with verification testing, analyses, and technical documentation. You will develop and validate new testing methodologies and equipment. You will work closely with Aimpoint's departments for Marketing, Development, Production Engineering, Production, etc.

Education and background

You are a civilingenjör in Engineering Physics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Nanotechnology, Mechanical Engineering, or Chemical Engineering, or alternatively possess equivalent knowledge. You may hold a PhD.

Good knowledge and experience in any of the following areas is meritorious:

• Optics
• Calculations
• Electronics
• Programming (C#, C++, Python)
• Mechanics-CAD
• Mechanics-simulation
• Chemistry
• ILS

We believe you have a few years of professional work experience. You are both theoretically and practically minded. Experience in documentation work and associated review is a plus.

Personal qualities

The Technical Analysis and Verification department ensures that Aimpoint's products meet given quality requirements. You should have an aptitude for troubleshooting as well as work systematically and purposefully. We have periods of high workload, and meeting deadlines is critical.

The writing of technical documents takes place in English. The position therefore requires a very good ability to express oneself in writing in English. Other qualities we value are the ability to work independently and in a group, initiative, and commitment.
