Assistant Engineer (Robotics Integration)

We are looking for a hands-on team member with coding knowledge, an interest in using AI and a willingness to learn and grow with us. Key responsibilities
- Write, test and troubleshoot code to connect devices, applications and APIs.
- Research technologies, products and open-source solutions, assessing their suitability, cost and integration requirements.
- Build and integrate IoT solutions involving sensors, controllers, connected devices and software platforms.
- Use AI tools to support coding, research and troubleshooting, while checking and testing the results.
- Support robotics deployment, including site assessments, setup, mapping, configuration and testing.
- Troubleshoot software, hardware, network and integration issues.
- Work with suppliers, developers and customers to deliver practical solutions.
- Prepare technical documentation and provide user training and deployment support.
Requirements
- Practical coding knowledge in one or more languages, such as Python, JavaScript/Node.js or C++.
- Basic understanding of APIs, networking and software-to-hardware integration.
- Interest in using AI tools to improve productivity and solve problems.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and apply them to practical projects.
- Ability to research independently and turn findings into working solutions.
- Willingness to support on-site installation, testing and troubleshooting.
- A responsible attitude, good communication skills and willingness to take ownership. An advantage
- Experience with ROS/ROS 2, Linux or autonomous mobile robots.
- Familiarity with Arduino, ESP32, Raspberry Pi, MQTT or Modbus.
- Experience with robot mapping, navigation or task scheduling.
- Knowledge of electronics and hardware prototyping.
