Your targeted goal

• Responsible for the safe execution of watchkeeping duties in the engine department
• Enforcement of accident prevention regulations, occupational safety, and fire protection in the entire technical area, as well as responsibility for conducting or delegating corresponding courses and training
• Responsibility for the maintenance and repair of machinery and systems
• Leadership and motivation of subordinate employees

Your previous course

• Degree in marine engineering and several years of experience in ship operations
• Possession of the necessary certificates according to STCW95
• Very good English skills, sense of responsibility, and guest and service orientation
• Good communication skills as well as willingness to work in a team, to lead it, and to motivate it
