Job function

• Drafting software requirements and designing software solutions for vehicle applications.
• Developing, managing, and maintaining software code and software versions.
• Implementing software for vehicle functions, controls, and user interfaces.
• Performing software testing and verifying operation in combination with hardware.
• Drafting and executing test scenarios to ensure software quality and performance.
• Supporting test and validation teams in verifying new features.
• Analyzing field data to improve software and resolve issues.
• Documenting design, development, and testing activities.

Your profile

• You hold a bachelor's or master's degree in Electronics, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a similar technical field.
• You have good knowledge of programming languages such as C and C#.
• You have experience with structured software development and relevant programming standards (such as MISRA-C).
• Knowledge of CAN and/or LIN protocols and experience with tools such as Vector CANalyzer® is an asset.
• You are strong in analysis, logical thinking, and solving technical challenges.
• You can understand and apply complex vehicle systems and communication protocols.
• You communicate fluently in English, both orally and in writing.

Desired qualifications

• Experience with MATLAB® Simulink/Stateflow, automatic code generation, and automated testing.
• Knowledge of software analysis, debugging, and memory management.
• Experience with SAE J1939, CAN, UDS and vehicle communication systems.
• Affinity with vehicle controls, electro-hydraulic systems, and industrial applications.
• Experience with tools such as Git, SVN, Polarion and Azure.
• Strong organizational skills and a proactive attitude.
• Experience with agricultural machinery or off-road vehicles is a plus.
• Team player with good communication skills.
