Industrial Engineer

As an Industrial Engineer, you analyze and optimize existing production processes and contribute to the further development of an efficient and future-oriented production environment.

Your responsibilities include, among others:

• Analyzing and continuously improving production processes, from assembly to final inspection.
• Performing time and capacity analyses, line balancing, and bottleneck analyses.
• Optimizing production layouts and workflows according to Lean principles.
• Developing and maintaining standard work instructions.
• Identifying and realizing cost savings through, among other things, scrap reduction, yield improvement, and process optimization.
• Collaborating on the introduction of new products and production processes.
• Utilizing data analysis and methodologies such as SPC and Six Sigma/DMAIC to achieve structural improvements.
• Collaborating with colleagues from production, quality, engineering, and supply chain, among others.
• Contributing to improvement projects across different production locations.
• Sharing your knowledge and acting as a mentor for less experienced colleagues.
• You possess a bachelor or master in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a similar technical field.
• You have at least 5 years of experience within industrial/manufacturing engineering, preferably in a technically complex production environment.
• Experience within electronics, EMS, semiconductor or a comparable high-tech production environment is a strong asset.
• You have strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement.
• A Six Sigma Green Belt is required; Black Belt is a plus.
• You have experience with methodologies such as 8D, A3 and DMAIC.
• You are familiar with data analysis tools such as Excel, Power BI and/or Minitab.
• You possess an analytical and data-driven mindset.
• You are strong in communication and can collaborate smoothly with different departments and levels within an organization.
• You like to take initiative, have a hands-on mentality, and know how to actually implement improvements.
• You speak and write fluent English.
• You are willing to travel occasionally to other production locations.
