Your responsibilities
- Quality & Compliance
- Improving and harmonizing quality standards within all production sites (France, Germany, Portugal, Czech Republic, and Turkey) and at strategic suppliers.
- Setting up and guiding continuous improvement projects.
- Investigating and analyzing technical production deviations.
- Supporting the implementation and further expansion of the quality standards ISO 9001 and EN 1090.
- Coordinating quality-related activities between production, R&D, and Engineering.
- Collaborating with local QHSE managers to further increase quality standards.
- Validating suppliers and performing supplier audits.
- Preparing for and participating in customer audits.
- Documentation
- Drafting technical specifications, procedures, and quality guidelines.
- Reporting
- Preparing measurement reports using conventional measuring tools and with the help of a 3D-measuring arm and 3D-scanner.
- General support
- Visiting production sites, suppliers, and customers (approximately 30% of working time).
- Supporting quality-related improvement projects.
- Providing technical support to the purchasing department where necessary.
You possess:
- A bachelor's or master's degree in Engineering, Electromechanics or a similar technical field.
- At least 5 years of experience within a production environment in the metalworking industry.
- Affinity with and willingness to work in a production environment.
- Excellent knowledge of English; knowledge of Dutch and/or French is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and a true team spirit.
- Willingness to travel internationally approximately 30% of the time.
