Working Level Labourer

What is your mandate as a farm worker? Provide a service to the various research teams by preparing, establishing, maintaining, and harvesting experimental plots in the fields.

Farm workers have the following responsibilities:

• Perform field and greenhouse activities (field/seedbed preparation, seeding, ploughing) for scientific purposes;
• Participate in the maintenance of experimental plots;
• Operate agricultural vehicles and equipment such as tractors, seeders, forage harvesters, mowers, string trimmers, and irrigation equipment;
• Assist with the maintenance of field equipment and vehicles;
• Clean and organize facilities, including workshops, pesticide or fertilizer mixing station, and laboratories;
• Maintain a detailed record of activities and supplies for research and maintenance purposes using both electronic and manual record-keeping methods.
