AGO Wetteren seeks: Technician wanted in the fixed afternoon shift in Wetteren

What will you do? As a Maintenance Technician, you are responsible for ensuring our machine park runs optimally and guaranteeing a safe working environment. Your work includes both preventive and curative maintenance of machines and installations, and providing technical support for various projects.

Your package of tasks: Preventive maintenance:

• Maintenance and lubrication of machines according to ISO standards
• Replacing filters and following up on calibrations
• Ordering parts and managing the technical warehouse

Curative maintenance:

• Replacing and repairing parts (electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic)
• Minimizing machine downtime
• Contact with external suppliers when necessary

Projects & buildings:

• Supporting technical investment projects
• Working on installations in the administrative building
• Drawing electrical diagrams
• General technical support

Other tasks:

• Requesting technical quotes and following up on orders
• Guiding inspections and following up on action points
• Invoice checking of own orders
• Consultation with colleagues for efficient collaboration

What do you bring?

• Technical insight in mechanics, electricity and/or pneumatics
• Experience with industrial maintenance (knowledge of BRC is a plus)
• Skill in reading and drawing electrical diagrams
• Independence, solution-oriented approach, and reliability
• Willingness to intervene outside office hours if necessary
• Basic knowledge of the English language
• Ability to start flexibly between 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM for the fixed late shift
