Logistics Supervisor (Production Department)

For our client, a leading international player in the automotive and transport sector, we are looking for a people-oriented and inspiring Supervisor for the logistics department within production. In this key role, you will lead an operational team of approximately 50 logistics employees, in close cooperation with your team leaders. You will ensure a structured and efficient organization of daily logistics activities, where the well-being and safety of your people are always central. Furthermore, you will be part of a close-knit and diverse team of fellow supervisors with whom you will brainstorm and exchange experiences daily.

• Coaching, motivating, and daily management of an operational logistics team within a specific part of the process.
• Ensuring strict guidelines regarding safety, quality, ergonomics, and environment on the shop floor.
• Facilitating a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging employees to proactively contribute improvement suggestions.
• Supporting, training, and individually guiding team members to maximize their professional growth and autonomy.
• Working closely with cross-functional support services (such as engineering, HR, safety, and quality) to achieve departmental objectives.
• You possess a strong passion for people management; inspiring, coaching, and motivating a large group of people gives you energy.
• A people-oriented leadership style combined with excellent communication skills and a healthy dose of soft skills.
• Strong organizational capabilities and a flexible, hands-on mentality to respond quickly to daily operational challenges.
• Specific logistics knowledge is not a must; a strong motivation to learn and the right attitude are much more important for our client.
• You possess a good basic knowledge of English.
• Willingness to work in a stable 2-shift system.
