Pastry Chef
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, desserts, and baked products. Follow recipes and preparation procedures to ensure consistent quality. Prepare ingredients and ensure proper portioning before production. Maintain high standards of taste, presentation, and product quality. Monitor the freshness and quality of ingredients and finished products. Ensure proper storage and handling of ingredients and prepared pastries. Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic pastry preparation area. Operate and care for pastry and baking equipment safely. Monitor ingredient usage and report stock shortages to management. Minimize wastage while maintaining production standards. Work closely with other kitchen and hospitality staff to ensure smooth operations. Follow all food safety, hygiene, and workplace procedures. Assist with developing new pastry items and improving existing products where required.
Requirements:
1–2 years of experience as a Pastry Chef or in a similar bakery/pastry role. Relevant culinary or pastry training is an advantage. Good knowledge of pastry preparation and baking techniques. Strong understanding of food hygiene and safety practices. Excellent attention to detail. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Good organizational and time-management skills. Ability to work as part of a team. Willingness to work weekends, public holidays, and shifts.

Working Days: Monday – Sunday
Working Hours: 6:00 AM – 2:00 AM (shift-based)
Salary: GHS 2,200 – GHS 2,500
