SALARY: from € 3,954.- gross

YOUR JOB

• You develop and operate agentic systems (multi-step, tool-based AI agents) as well as the underlying Retrieval / RAG layer
• You design and implement scalable backend services and APIs with Python and TypeScript / Node.js
• You are responsible for the model serving and routing layer (e.g., multi-model gateways, integration of LLMs, tools, and corporate data)
• You make AI production-ready: through evaluation setups, observability, and automated deployments
• You design clean, modular architectures with clear interfaces
• You actively use modern AI coding tools (e.g., Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code) as part of your daily work
• You work closely with the Head of AI Products and actively shape strategy, implementation, and scaling

YOUR PROFILE

• Excellent knowledge of Python and TypeScript / Node.js (Must-have)
• Experience in backend and API development as well as scalable system architectures
• Practical experience with LLMs, RAG, and agent systems - you have already implemented solutions in production
• Confident handling of AI coding tools and their efficient use in the development process
• Sound knowledge of Linux, Docker, and modern Git workflows
• Experience with Azure and Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform) is an advantage
• Degree in Computer Science / Software Engineering / AI or comparable practical experience
• Very good English skills, German is an advantage
• You enjoy working independently, pragmatically, and with a clear focus on implementation

The collective agreement minimum monthly gross salary for this position is € 3,954.00 (KV IT) on a full-time basis. Overpayment is possible depending on qualifications and professional experience.
