Pig Farm Employee Wanted for Modern Pig Production in Denmark

Are you interested in pig production and looking for a stable, long-term job in Denmark? We are looking for a motivated and reliable employee to join our team at a modern pig farm near Fjerritslev in North Jutland.

This is a permanent full-time position with the opportunity to become part of a professional and international team.

About the Farm

We operate a modern pig production with:

1,500 sows

Approximately 50,000 finishing pigs annually

A team of Danish and international employees

We offer a friendly working environment where teamwork, responsibility, and good animal care are highly valued.

Job Responsibilities

The position is primarily within the sow unit and includes:

Breeding and gestation management

Daily care of sows and piglets

Piglet processing, including castration

Moving pigs between sections

Cleaning and washing barns (approximately once per week)

General farm and production-related tasks

You should be able to work independently, but support from colleagues is always available.

We Are Looking For Someone Who

Has an interest in pig production

Enjoys working with animals

Can work independently and take responsibility

Is a positive team player

Speaks English

Holds a valid driver's licence

Experience from farming or livestock production is an advantage, but not a requirement. Experience with pig production or castration is considered a plus.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday

Typically from 07:00 to 16:00

Earlier finish on Fridays when possible

Breaks

Morning break: 09:00 - 09:30 (bread provided by the employer)

Lunch break: 12:00 - 12:30

Weekend Schedule

07:00 - 12:00

Approximately 30 minutes of work around 16:00
