For our renowned customer from the aerospace industry at the location in 71522 Backnang, we are looking for:

Test Engineer Telecommunications Satellite Technology Aerospace Engineering (f/m/d)

YOUR TASKS

• You will act as a Test Engineer for Telecommunications Payloads (f/m/d)
• You will perform setup and validation of measurement systems as well as RF-tests
• You will perform test preparation on communication-payloads and communication-subsystems internally or externally
• You will perform electrical integration tests (e.g., harness testing; pin assignment; HPCs, etc.)
• You will support activities in connection with the communication-payloads at the system level at the customer (e.g., for the T-Vac test at IABG in Munich or e.g., in TLS)
• You will create specifications, procedures, test plans and test reports as well as their presentation and discussion with the customer
• You will handle interface issues between the areas of AIT, Project Management and Engineering
• You will undertake preparation and participation in reviews
• You will support relevant bid activities
• You will undertake preparation, monitoring and consolidation of work packages; e.g., tasks of the AIT departments internally as well as external subcontractors
• You will use/operate software for the control of RF measurement devices, satellite components as well as for the recording and analysis of measurement data
• You will adapt scripts for the control of the test sequences in the test system

YOUR QUALIFICATION

• You have a completed technical degree as a Business Informatician (f/m/d), Engineering Informatician (f/m/d), Systems Informatician (f/m/d), Engineer Electrical Engineering (f/m/d), Engineer Communications Engineering (f/m/d), Engineer Mechanical Engineering (f/m/d), Engineer Aerospace Engineering (f/m/d), Physicist (f/m/d), Mathematician (f/m/d), or a comparable qualification
• You bring several years of professional experience from Project Management, Research, Development, R&D, Test, Experiment, Simulation, Analysis, System Design, Device or System Development, System Engineering, System Engineer or Support, preferably from Aerospace Engineering, Industry or the Automotive sector
• You preferably bring experience from the Aerospace Industry or the Bundeswehr
• You preferably bring knowledge in High Frequency Technology, Antenna Technology, Communications Engineering, Communication Technology, Satellite Technology, Radar Technology
• You have good MS-Office skills
• You preferably possess basic knowledge in programming languages Python, C#
• You preferably possess basic knowledge in LINUX
• You have good knowledge in RF measurement technology, RF hardware
• You have very good English skills
• You have a structured, careful and result-oriented way of working
• You are capable of teamwork and communication
