Mechanical Design Specialist

Your tasks

Drive mechanical design and technical deliveries for complex products within the automotive industry. Here, you will have a key role in the development of complex mechanical solutions for the automotive industry. You will combine deep design expertise with technical leadership and contribute to quality-assured deliveries throughout the entire product development process. About the role Take technical responsibility within a defined mechanical area. Work in an advanced product development environment within the automotive industry. This is what you will do Design and develop mechanical constructions in CAD. Lead and support design activities within complex sub-areas. Coordinate technical interfaces and integrate deliveries from multiple parties. Ensure design quality prior to review and release. Manage design changes, documentation, and technical status reporting.

Requirements

We are looking for someone who has At least eight years of experience in mechanical design, preferably from the automotive industry. A good understanding of vehicle systems, components, and product development processes. Experience in cross-functional collaboration and technical interface management. The ability to drive technical issues forward and turn challenges into solutions. Meritorious experience in technical leadership, work packages, or development projects.

Technology & Tools PTC Creo for mechanical CAD design. GD&T and tolerance chain analysis. PLM/PDM systems and change management. Product development, design review, and manufacturing processes.
