Senior Functional Developer in Automotive Electronics

Develop and secure body functions for the vehicles of the future in an international development environment, with responsibility from concept and requirements to verification and validation. Do you want to develop functions that affect the vehicle's comfort, body, and electrical systems? In this senior role, you will work through the entire development chain – from concept and requirement setting to integration, testing, and validation. You will become a central technical link between development teams and suppliers in an international automotive environment. About the role Responsible for functional development within body control and related vehicle functions. Ensure that functional deliveries follow specifications, processes, and standards. Work with development for European market and regulatory requirements.

This is what you will do Develop and manage functional concepts, requirements, and specifications. Act as the technical interface for requirement alignment, release coordination, and supplier dialogue. Follow up on software and system deviations in issue tracking systems. Support functional integration as well as plan and perform testing, verification, and validation. Drive technical discussions and ensure implementation according to agreed requirements.

We are looking for you who have A university or master's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent. At least seven years of experience in electrical vehicle systems, electrical architecture, or software development. A good understanding of processes and working methods within automotive-related functional development. Knowledge of relevant standards, regulations, and established working methods within the automotive industry. Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and external suppliers.
