Senior Embedded Software Verification Engineer

We are looking for a senior verification engineer who wants to quality assure embedded control systems for vehicles in an agile development environment.

Here, you will get to work closely with the development of advanced control systems for vehicle dynamics and contribute to robust functions in complex vehicles. You will become part of an experienced agile team with responsibility ranging from requirements and specification to verification and quality follow-up.

What you will do

• Create test cases and test scenarios at ECU and system levels.
• Perform tests in SIL, HIL, and vehicle environments.
• Run, analyze, and follow up on automated regression tests.
• Contribute to developing verification strategies, test methods, and workflows.
• Collaborate closely with function owners and software developers.

We are looking for you who have

• At least five years of relevant experience in verification or development of embedded systems.
• A good understanding of embedded real-time systems and system development.
• A university or master's degree in engineering in, for example, mechatronics, control engineering, or mechanical engineering.
• Knowledge within automotive, mechanics, or control engineering.
• The ability to communicate clearly and work both independently and in a team.

Technology & Tools

• CANoe and CANalyzer for communication and testing.
• Git, CT Studio, Vector DaVinci, and SystemWeaver.
• Testing in SIL and HIL environments.
• C#, C++, Python, and GitHub Copilot are merits.
• Knowledge of ISO 26262 and software architecture is a merit.
