Senior Embedded Software Engineer – Control Systems

About the role

You will become part of a team with end-to-end responsibility for software for electro-hydraulic control systems. The role covers the entire development chain, from requirements and function to verification, release, and follow-up. You will collaborate closely with embedded, mechatronics, and verification engineers in a global development environment.

What you will do

Design, develop, test, maintain, and document embedded software functions. Specify requirements and break down functional and logic design into implementable solutions. Integrate and adapt functionality in vehicles as well as troubleshoot and perform practical functional tests. Work with improvements in functional safety and cybersecurity. Collaborate with development teams and suppliers to deliver a complete software platform.

We are looking for you who have

Relevant university education in, for example, mechatronics, control engineering, electronics, or a related field. Several years of experience in the development of embedded systems, preferably at a senior level. Experience of the entire software development life cycle, from requirements to release and maintenance. Knowledge of automotive communication, diagnostics, and UDS protocols. Understanding of ISO 26262; experience with vehicle dynamics or advanced control systems is a merit.
