Senior Diagnostics Engineer – Embedded Systems

Develop diagnostic solutions for testing, calibration, and troubleshooting of connected vehicles and components in an agile development environment.

Do you want to develop diagnostic solutions that make it easier to troubleshoot, test, and calibrate vehicles after delivery? In this role, you will work closely with both software, vehicles, and aftermarket users to create reliable and useful tools.

About the role

• You will be part of a development team building off-board diagnostics for vehicle-adjacent systems.
• The role covers the entire chain from technical specification to verification in test environments and vehicles.
• You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve solutions for the aftermarket.

What you will do

• Develop functions for diagnostic tools within testing and calibration.
• Create troubleshooting flows for error codes, symptoms, and relevant components.
• Verify diagnostic functions in test rigs and on complete vehicles.
• Analyze technical specifications and translate them into working solutions.
• Actively contribute to agile development work.

We are looking for you who have

• At least five years of practical experience in embedded software, preferably from the automotive sector.
• Experience with diagnostic tools and technology for vehicle-adjacent aftermarket.
• A good understanding of electrical system architectures.
• Experience working and verifying at a complete vehicle level.
• The ability to read, analyze, and implement technical specifications.
