PLC Programmer TwinCAT 3

We are looking for a PLC Programmer who wants to develop robust control software for power monitoring in advanced testing environments. We are seeking an experienced PLC Programmer for the development of control software for power monitoring systems in advanced testing environments. You will play a central role in creating robust, modular, and well-documented solutions that protect testing equipment during deviating operating conditions.

About the role

• Develop PLC software for power monitoring and protection functions.
• Work with systems that monitor voltage, current, cooling, and external sensors.
• Contribute to a common software architecture for multiple system configurations.
• Ensure high reliability in systems with critical protection functions.

What you will do

• Translate hardware design and functional requirements into working PLC software.
• Program in Structured Text in TwinCAT XAE.
• Build modular function blocks for I/O, monitoring, and control.
• Handle predictable errors, deviations, and system failures in a controlled manner.
• Document and structure the code for long-term maintenance and further development.

We are looking for someone who has

• Experience in PLC programming in Structured Text.
• Practical experience with TwinCAT 3 and Beckhoff-based solutions.
• Understanding of software architecture and modular system design.
• Basic electrical knowledge for working with monitoring and control systems.
• Experience developing robust software for technically demanding environments.
