We are looking for a Network Specialist who wants to secure and develop mission-critical infrastructure in a complex, multi-site environment. Do you want to work hands-on with networks in an organization where availability, security, and stable connectivity are crucial? Here, you will have a central role in developing, operating, and modernizing a complex network environment with multiple sites and hybrid cloud connections. About the role You will become part of an international organization with a complex IT and business environment. The role encompasses both ongoing network operations and infrastructural development initiatives. You will work closely with IT, security, and business teams as well as external vendors.

Your tasks

What you will do Design, implement, and optimize LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, WLAN, and remote access solutions. Configure and manage routing, switching, segmentation, firewalls, and VPN solutions. Monitor capacity, availability, and performance, as well as troubleshoot incidents and perform root cause analyses. Support security work through hardening, patching, vulnerability mitigation, and network segmentation. Develop documentation, topologies, and operating procedures, and support migrations and modernization projects.

Requirements

We are looking for you who have Several years of experience in network technology, network operations, or infrastructure in an enterprise environment. Good practical experience with routing, switching, firewalls, VPN, and mission-critical connectivity. In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLAN, STP, DNS, DHCP, and NAT. Experience in network security, access control, segmentation, and Zero Trust principles. The ability to work structured with incidents, changes, and technical documentation.

Technology & Tools Cisco, Fortinet, Cisco Firepower, Cisco ASA, or equivalent network and firewall platforms. LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, WLAN, internet edge, and remote access. IPSec VPN, SSL VPN, Site-to-Site VPN, and Remote Access VPN. AWS, Azure, and other hybrid cloud connections. Python, Ansible, Terraform, and monitoring tools as well as network automation are merits.
