Do you want to be part of developing the next generation of production solutions within body production? In the role of Manufacturing Engineer, you will work from the early concept phase to implementation in the production plant and contribute to efficient, flexible, and quality-assured processes.

About the role

• You will be part of a cross-functional and project-oriented team within manufacturing development.
• The role includes working with both manual and automated production systems.
• You will contribute to production solutions for body production in an international environment.
• Travel within and outside Europe may occur.

What you will do

• Drive manufacturing issues throughout the entire product development and industrialization process.
• Prepare and implement products and production processes in the factory.
• Ensure solutions together with production, product development, and the manufacturing organization.
• Optimize quality, line balancing, cost-effectiveness, environment, flexibility, and changeover time.
• Contribute to the development of methods and tools for future production lines.

We are looking for you who have

• A university or MSc engineering degree in production engineering, mechanical engineering, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Practical and theoretical knowledge of the development of manual or automated manufacturing systems.
• Experience with body processes or similar manufacturing environments is a merit.
• Ability to collaborate across functions and drive improvements in project form.
• Very good ability to communicate in English, both spoken and written.
