In-Car Test Engineer

Test and troubleshoot complex infotainment systems in vehicles. You will work closely with development teams and contribute to ensuring the quality of connected vehicle experiences.

Do you want to work practically with the testing of advanced systems in vehicles? In the role of In-Car Test Engineer, you will troubleshoot complex problems, validate new software deliveries, and contribute to a stable user experience in connected vehicles.

About the role

• Work in a cross-functional team within connected vehicle functions.
• Conduct testing in complete vehicle environments.
• Troubleshoot complex problems that can be difficult to reproduce in smaller test environments.
• Collaborate closely with development teams, test functions, and workshops.

What you will do

• Validate complete infotainment systems and HMI functions.
• Test new software deliveries in vehicles on an ongoing basis.
• Plan and conduct test drives and field tests under varying conditions.
• Analyze errors, collect relevant logs, and communicate the error pattern clearly.
• Produce test analyses, test specifications, and regular summaries.

We are looking for you who have

• Relevant university education in, for example, computer science, electrical engineering, or mechatronics, or equivalent competence.
• Experience in vehicle development and infotainment systems.
• A good understanding of vehicle electrical systems and test equipment.
• The ability to troubleshoot across systems and drive investigations together with multiple teams.
• A valid Swedish B-driver's license.
