Hardware Release Lead Engineer

About the role

• Driving role within hardware release and configuration management.
• Work in an international organization within the automotive industry.
• Collaboration with development, purchasing, suppliers, factory, and aftermarket.

What you will do

• Plan, coordinate, and execute hardware releases against project milestones.
• Ensure that part information, documentation, and release data are correct.
• Facilitate design reviews, approvals, and deviation management.
• Follow up on suppliers' release plans, backlog, and deliveries.
• Support production, aftermarket, and new projects with hardware-related issues.

We are looking for you who have

• Relevant university education in electronics, computer science, automation, or a related field.
• Experience in product development within the automotive industry or another regulated technical environment.
• Knowledge of electronic components, hardware integration, or release to production.
• Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and drive issues toward clear decisions.
• Good ability to work structured in complex and changing contexts.

• PLM and configuration management systems.
• Planisware for planning and follow-up.
• Confluence and tools for documentation and issue management.
• Processes for design review, deviation management, and supplier follow-up.
