Group Accountant

About the role

• You will become an important part of a team within group accounting.
• The role includes monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
• You will work with consolidation and quality assurance of financial information.
• You will collaborate with subsidiaries, internal stakeholders, and external auditors.

What you will do

• Prepare and validate consolidation adjustments.
• Support the preparation of external financial reports, notes, and disclosures according to IFRS.
• Analyze financial data and produce documentation for reporting.
• Maintain data in consolidation systems and ensure uniform accounting.
• Contribute to improved processes, controls, and system support within group accounting.

We are looking for you who have

• Several years of experience in finance, accounting, or auditing, preferably with a focus on group accounting.
• Experience in financial reporting and compliance in a listed business.
• A good understanding of IFRS and principles for group consolidation.
• Experience with monthly and annual closings as well as financial analysis.
• Relevant university education in economics, accounting, or finance.

Technology & Tools

• IFRS for external financial reporting.
• Excel for analysis and reporting.
• Consolidation systems, where AARO is a merit.
• SOX-related reporting requirements are a merit.
