Embedded Software Release Engineer

Ensure quality and configuration in software releases for the aftermarket at an established player within the automotive industry. Do you want to work with software releases that allow vehicles to be updated with the correct software throughout their entire lifecycle? In this role, you will combine embedded development, quality assurance, and configuration management within the automotive industry.

About the role

• Responsible for software releases and configuration for the aftermarket.
• Ensure that systems and vehicles have access to current software.
• Work closely with projects, product deliveries, and quality functions.

What you will do

• Secure software requirements ahead of deliveries, transitions, and releases.
• Verify quality and configuration in service packages.
• Review, analyze, and validate software documentation.
• Create and verify software-related accessories and distributions.
• Ensure backward compatibility for ECU hardware and software.

• Experience in embedded software development or other relevant software development.
• The ability to independently drive work towards clear deliveries.
• Proficiency in analyzing complex information and solving problems pragmatically.
• A focus on quality, structure, and efficient implementation.
