Embedded Software Integration Engineer

Your tasks

Develop low-level software for real-time systems in an advanced automotive environment. Here, you will work closely with hardware, test automation, and the entire development chain.

Here, you will work with embedded software in a technically advanced environment where real-time, quality, and testability are in focus. The role is suitable for you who want to be involved throughout the entire development chain and contribute closely to both hardware and testing.

About the role

• Develop and maintain embedded software for control units.
• Work with low-level development in real-time systems.
• Contribute to the entire chain from requirements and design to verification and maintenance.
• Participate in shaping SW design and test setups.

What you will do

• Write and further develop code in C and Python.
• Produce software requirements and technical documentation.
• Create and optimize scripts for test automation.
• Work closely with the verification of functions in embedded systems.
• Collaborate in a cross-functional agile team.

Requirements

We are looking for you who have

• Strong competence in C and Python.
• Experience in software architecture and design.
• Familiarity with functional safety, preferably according to ISO 26262.
• Experience with Git and agile working methods.
• A good understanding of real-time systems and resource-constrained embedded environments.
