Data Product Engineer

Develop scalable data products and pipelines for connected vehicle data in an international technology environment with a focus on analytics, reporting, and ML/AI.

Do you want to develop data products that make vehicle data accessible, reliable, and usable? In this role, you will work in an international automotive-related technology environment with data for analytics, reporting, and ML/AI.

You will become an important part of a team that builds and manages cloud-based data services for internal users and external business applications.

About the role

• Develop and manage data products for vehicle data.
• Work with data platforms, data warehouses, and data APIs.
• Support analytics, reporting, battery health, and ML/AI use cases.
• Ensure stable operation, good data quality, and efficient data flows.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain batch and streaming pipelines.
• Build workflows for data cleansing, transformation, and modeling.
• Monitor performance, data quality, and system health, as well as troubleshoot incidents.
• Develop data models, reports, and simple dashboards.
• Manage configuration, releases, validation, and improvement of data products.

We are looking for someone who has

• 2–4 years of experience in data engineering, data products, or data platform operations.
• Experience with data warehouses, data modeling, and ETL/ELT processes.
• Good knowledge of SQL and practical experience with Python or another programming language.
• Experience with production-grade operations, testing, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Understanding of data access, security, privacy, and compliance.

Technology & Tools

• SQL and Python.
• Apache Spark, Kafka, Flink, or equivalent data processing technologies.
• AWS, e.g., S3, Redshift, EMR, and Glue.
• Databricks, Snowflake, or equivalent data platforms.
• Power BI, CI/CD, and DevOps tools.
