Data Engineer

Build and maintain robust data products for vehicle data – from batch and streaming flows to data quality, governance, and cloud-based automation.

Do you want to develop data platforms that make complex vehicle data usable, reliable, and accessible? In the role of Data Engineer, you will work closely with product, business, and platform teams to build and operate modern data products.

About the role

• You will become part of a team that develops data and cloud solutions for vehicle-related services.
• The focus is on data pipelines, data warehouses, data quality, and operational management.
• You will work with both batch- and streaming-based data flows.
• The role encompasses several cloud environments and integrations between systems.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain batch and streaming pipelines for vehicle data.
• Build ETL/ELT flows for cleaning, transforming, validating, and enriching data.
• Develop data models as well as structures for data warehouses and lakehouses.
• Automate provisioning and configuration with Infrastructure as Code.
• Monitor data quality, availability, and pipeline status, as well as troubleshoot production issues.

We are looking for someone who has

• 3–5 years of experience in data engineering, data warehouse development, or data management.
• Good knowledge of SQL and practical experience with Python and/or PySpark.
• Understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT, data quality, and data governance.
• Experience developing and maintaining data pipelines in a production environment.
• Proficiency in data monitoring, troubleshooting, and collaboration with technical and business teams.

Technology & Tools

• SQL, Python, and PySpark.
• Databricks, preferably in an AWS environment.
• Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
• Git, CI/CD, and automated testing.
• Power BI, as well as experience with IoT, vehicle, or connected data platforms, is a merit.
