AI Architect for AI Platform

Build and further develop a secure AI platform for European businesses. You will get to combine AI architecture, cloud technology, and integration in an international automotive-adjacent environment. Do you want to shape the architecture for a modern AI platform in a complex international environment? In this role, you will create secure, scalable, and reusable solutions for AI services, data, and enterprise integrations.

About the role

• Take technical ownership of a European AI platform and its target architecture.
• Work with agent-based AI services, model gateway, SDKs, and integration frameworks.
• Ensure that common platform components function in a European cloud and enterprise environment.
• Act as a technical bridge between application teams, IT infrastructure, and distributed development teams.

What you will do

• Define, document, and further develop reference architecture and architectural decisions.
• Deploy and manage platform services in a cloud environment together with Cloud and DevOps teams.
• Design secure integration patterns for APIs, document data, and knowledge databases.
• Support teams building AI solutions through reusable patterns, SDKs, and architecture reviews.
• Ensure requirements regarding data storage, access control, logging, and regulatory compliance.

We are looking for someone who has

• At least five years of experience in software, cloud, or platform architecture.
• Practical experience with LLM platforms, agent solutions, RAG, or productionized AI services.
• Strong knowledge of Python and/or TypeScript as well as API and distributed system design.
• Knowledge of secure API design, IAM, networking, secrets management, and observability.
• Understanding of GDPR, data residency, and AI regulatory requirements is a merit.

Technology & Tools

• AI: LLM, agent solutions, RAG, embeddings, vector search, and guardrails.
• Development: Python, TypeScript, APIs, and SDKs.
• Cloud: Kubernetes, Azure, AWS, or GCP, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Platform: Terraform, ArgoCD, OpenTelemetry, IAM, and observability.
• Merit: LangChain, LangGraph, or Semantic Kernel.
