About the company

An important allied company requires for its work team a professional in international negotiation, business administration, production engineering, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, administrative engineering, or related areas, with a specialization related to purchasing, sourcing, supplier negotiation, or supply chain management, with between 5 and 8 years of experience in international purchasing.

Your tasks

Job Mission To guarantee the efficient and timely management of the purchase of raw materials, supplies, and outsourced products required for manufacturing processes, articulating demand planning with inventory and storage strategies, through the execution of purchasing models and negotiation with national and international suppliers that ensure supply and compliance with deliveries to internal customers.

Specific Functions

• Design and execute purchasing strategies that ensure the timely supply of materials and supplies, seeking alternatives in Colombia and other international markets.
• Supervise and evaluate the fulfillment of the area's management indicators (KPI), presenting periodic management reports and monitoring of plans.
• Search for, evaluate, and select suppliers that meet the required standards of quality, price, and delivery times.
• Negotiate prices, payment conditions, delivery terms, and other contractual terms with suppliers to obtain favorable conditions for the organization.
• Plan the acquisition of materials, products, and services required for production processes, in accordance with the company's supply needs.

Requirements

• Minimum education: Postgraduate / Specialization
• 5 years of experience

What we offer

Range between $8,000,000 and $9,000,000 + legal social benefits. Schedules: Monday to Wednesday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Thursday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Contract type: Fixed. Work location: Itagüí, Antioquia.
