A company located in the municipality of Medellín requires a Host with English proficiency, with or without a disability, for its work team, with a minimum of one (1) year of experience in the hotel sector. Academic training: Technician in customer service, hospitality or tourism and/or related areas. Requirements for the position: - Customer service and attention. - Reservation management and floor plan management. - Knowledge of the menu and restaurant service. - Handling of reservation tools, WhatsApp, and POS. - Proficiency in the English language (conversational). Job mission: Responsible for receiving, guiding, and locating customers and guests in the restaurant, managing table reservations and the occupancy flow of the dining room. Their mission is to generate a warm and organized first impression, optimize table turnover, and coordinate communication between the customer and the service team. Functions: - Receive customers and guests with cordiality, welcome greeting, basic information, and accompaniment to the table. - Manage table reservations by telephone, WhatsApp, email, or digital systems, confirm and follow up on reservations and cancellations. - Administer the floor plan and rotation, assigning tables in a balanced way among the service stations and controlling waiting times. - Inform about the menu, hours, services, and restaurant policies, including options for diets and allergies, in coordination with the team. - Coordinate with the service team and the kitchen regarding service progress and special customer needs (groups, celebrations, reduced mobility). - Handle initial complaints or dissatisfactions with tact and escalate them to the person in charge of the shift. Salary: Between $1,750,905 to $2,200,000 + current legal benefits. Contract type: Fixed. Schedules: Rotating shifts. Workplace: Medellín.
