General Director with B2 English

Important company in the metalworking sector located in Itagüí, requests for its work team, personnel with a minimum of 8 years of experience to perform the position of general manager.

Academic training:

professional with undergraduate and/or postgraduate degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related careers.

Specific functions:

• Define and implement the systematization of production, inventory, and order processes to consolidate a scalable operation.
• Identify and develop new niches and markets, strengthening and expanding the export operation towards Central America.
• Lead the modernization and automation of the company's machinery, prioritizing high-impact strategic investments.
• Comprehensively supervise the production, purchasing, logistics, and sales areas, guaranteeing an articulated and efficient operation.
• Translate operational results into clear financial indicators, managing profitability, costs, margins, and cash flow sustainability.

Knowledge:

• Advanced handling of office tools (advanced Excel, Power BI or similar for management indicators).
• Handling of ERP systems for production, inventory, and costs, ideally with experience leading their implementation or improvement.
• Handling of Artificial Intelligence tools (such as Claude or others) applied to process optimization, data analysis, and managerial decision-making.
• Solid knowledge in costs and gross/operational margins.
• Desired B2 English level (negotiable down to B1 for candidates who stand out in the rest of the competencies).
• Management of automation projects and/or capital expenditure.
• Knowledge in quality and traceability of production processes.

Salary:

$8.000.000 to $12.000.000 + legal benefits.

Schedules: Monday to Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Contract type: Indefinite.
