Creative Copy Writer
Must-have:AIHealthTechLead
What you will do
You own the words and help shape the idea behind them, from the first brainstorm to the final caption.
Concepts and campaign messaging
- Work with the Creative Lead and strategy head to develop campaign ideas, creative territories and messaging frameworks.
- Turn client briefs, product features and brand positioning into clear, memorable narratives.
- Present and sell your concepts in internal reviews and client pitches.
Copy across channels
- Write campaign headlines, taglines, body copy and calls to action for key visuals, print and digital ads.
- Write platform-native social copy for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and LinkedIn: hooks, captions, carousels and short-form video scripts.
- Write websites, landing pages, EDMs, brochures and the occasional long-form piece.
- Name things: campaigns, products, programmes and brand properties.
Brand voice
- Learn each client's tone, personality and audience, and keep the voice consistent across markets and touchpoints.
- Build and maintain voice guidelines and messaging playbooks for assigned accounts.
- Proofread and edit your own work and others' to a publish-ready standard.
Collaboration
- Work side by side with designers and video editors so copy and visuals are developed together.
- Join client meetings with client servicing to take briefs and present work.
- Revise copy based on client feedback and on engagement and performance data.
- Use AI tools to speed up research and first drafts, while keeping the judgement and the final line your own.
Your first 90 days
By the end of month three you are writing publish-ready copy for your accounts with light supervision.
- Days 1–30: learn how we work. Get to know our briefing, review and approval process, and how copy, design and strategy hand off to each other. Read into the tone, audience and goals of each account you are assigned.
- Days 31–60: contribute. Deliver on-brand copy across social, digital and print. Join brainstorms and pitch angles, hooks and formats. Turn briefs into clear concepts.
- Days 61–90: own it. Lead the copy on at least one campaign from concept to delivery. Start a voice guide and hook library for your accounts, and flag content opportunities to the team.
