AFRY Management Consulting is a global segment within AFRY focused on the energy, forest and bio-based industries helping clients address strategic, commercial and operational questions in markets undergoing significant change. We are now looking to grow our Nordic team focused on the energy industry. You will join an ambitious professional team working with leading companies, investors and public-sector stakeholders. While the role is based in Sweden, you will be part of a close team that works across markets, geographies and disciplines.

Working alongside specialists from across AFRY, we help clients understand how markets, technologies and regulation are evolving, shape future direction, support investments and transactions, strengthen operating models, improve organizational effectiveness and realise value from transformation initiatives. Working closely with clients and colleagues, we help organizations understand, structure and address complex questions related to: How changing markets, technologies and regulatory frameworks create risks and opportunities Identify growth opportunities, evaluate strategic options and define future direction Analyze markets, competitors and technologies through forward-looking assessments Support investment decisions, transactions and capital allocation through market assessments, due diligence and value realization Improve performance through organizational development, operating model design and business transformation Translate strategic ambitions into tangible outcomes and long-term value creation
You have experience from the energy sector and its broader value chain, gained in environments shaped by complex problems, senior stakeholder management and high expectations on analysis, judgement and collaboration. Your background may be from other relevant strategy or management consulting roles, or from industry roles such as corporate strategy, business development or M&A. In addition, you are likely to thrive with us if you: Have a strong interest in the energy industry and the forces shaping its future Enjoy structuring complex problems and turning analysis into clear recommendations Combine intellectual curiosity with sound judgement and a commercial mindset Are comfortable working in situations where the answer is not immediately obvious Communicate complex ideas clearly, both in writing and in conversation Take responsibility for the quality of the work, contribute beyond your own deliverables and help colleagues and clients succeed Are motivated by responsibility, continuous development and an ambitious professional environment built on trust and high standards Your role and development Depending on your experience, your role, responsibility level and development path will reflect the profile you bring and where you can make the strongest contribution. Our consulting roles span from early-career consultant positions to senior advisory and leadership roles, allowing us to consider candidates with different levels and combinations of experience. A relevant master's degree is expected. Professional fluency in English is required, and proficiency in Swedish is important for many of our client engagements.

Location The role can be based in Gothenburg, Stockholm or Malmö. We are particularly focused on continuing to grow our presence in Gothenburg as an important hub for our business, while remaining committed to attracting exceptional talent across Sweden.
