Your tasks
At AFRY Chile, our Energy business unit is looking for a Project Engineer to join the Renewable Energies area. We are looking for professionals with between 1 and 5 years of experience in solar photovoltaic projects and battery energy storage systems (BESS), with an interest in the energy transition and motivation to participate in challenging projects in Chile and Latin America.
What will your functions be?
- Integral project management, including planning, schedule monitoring, and progress control.
- Preparation of technical specifications, calculation reports, and specialized reports.
- Development of technical due diligence processes for solar and BESS projects.
- Energy evaluation, solar resource analysis, and production estimates.
- Review of engineering and technical documentation of projects.
- Coordination with clients, contractors, suppliers, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Preparation of technical proposals and support in commercial processes.
Requirements
- • Professional degree in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
- • Solid knowledge of photovoltaic theory.
- • Technical knowledge in BESS systems.
- • Knowledge of the Chilean and/or Latin American electricity market.
- • Experience in conceptual, basic, and detailed engineering for renewable projects.
- • Proficiency in PVcase, PVsyst, AutoCAD, and MS Project.
- • Advanced proficiency in Python applied to analysis, automation, and data processing.
- • Advanced level of English.
