Project Engineer - Mechanical (Senior)

At AFRY México, we are looking for a Mechanical Engineer with at least 10 years of experience in industrial sector projects. Responsibilities and functions: Perform development for the entire project life cycle (design, development, test prototypes, manufacturing, and implementation) Verify and validate the work execution project, assessing modifications as deemed appropriate. Verify the work schedule and compliance with its deadlines. Control that the executing company strictly complies with the technical specifications of the project. Approve the start of works to be executed, controlling their quality. Once completed, issue the corresponding work completion certificates, authorizing the payment of estimates. Knowledge in specification of materials for purchasing civil components; Technical analysis of supplier proposals and designs. Technical surveys on-site. Prepare documentation and product reports Availability to travel

Experience in Pulp & Paper industrial projects (is a differentiator). Experience in industrial projects (Food, Energy, Mining, Chemical, and others). Experience applying national and international standards. Experience in theoretical and practical construction processes Experience with projects involving analysis of existing structures and current conditions in static and dynamic modes. Solid knowledge of key concepts such as mechanics, kinematics, thermodynamics, materials science, etc. Project coordination. Coordination and communication skills with other specialties. Proficiency in MS Office, Autocad 2D (desirable 3D software management – E3D), Revit, and Navisworks. Intermediate English. Communication, organizational, and leadership skills. Reliable and honest. Analytical profile.
