Do you want to build the next generation of AI solutions where large language models, business data, and user experience meet? At AFRY Digital Services, we are now looking for a fullstack developer who wants to work hands‑on with LLM‑based solutions, knowledge bases, and data-driven applications in a cloud environment. This is not a data science role and not a pure backend role. It is an engineering role where you build AI solutions end‑to‑end, from data and LLM integration to a finished application used in our client's operations, where you will play a part in ensuring delivery from our team on-site.

In this role, you will work on client-facing AI initiatives where the focus lies on building new GenAI solutions, such as AI‑based knowledge bases, copilots, and automated decision support. You will work through the entire chain: data → AI/LLM → application → usage, with a clear product focus and rapid iteration. The role is suitable for you who want to combine AI understanding, backend/data, and modern frontend. Examples of tasks: Integrate applications with Azure OpenAI / LLM services Build solutions for: semantic search (vector databases) AI‑based knowledge bases

Work with prompt management and orchestration of LLM flows Ensure that AI solutions function reliably in real-world usage Work with databases and data management: PostgreSQL (including vector‑use cases) Graph databases / knowledge graphs

Build data ingestion flows and simpler pipelines linked to AI solutions Develop user interfaces in TypeScript with modern frontend, e.g., Next.js Build interfaces that make AI functionality usable and value-creating Work in Azure environments Responsible for deployment, integration, and operation in the cloud Work iteratively with rapid prototyping, testing, and further development Collaborate closely with the client in the development of new solutions We are looking for you who have: Experience in fullstack development in a production environment Very good knowledge of TypeScript and modern frontend (e.g., Next.js) Experience with LLM integration, e.g., Azure OpenAI Good knowledge of Python for backend and AI-adjacent logic Experience with databases and data management (PostgreSQL, preferably vector‑use cases) Experience with Azure and cloud-based deployment Ability to work hands-on, quickly, and solution-oriented in new technical environments Meritorious Experience with vector databases and retrieval solutions Knowledge graphs / graph databases LLM frameworks (e.g., LangChain or similar) Product-oriented development of AI solutions CI/CD and cloud‑native working methods You need to be able to communicate professionally in English.

Swedish is meritorious for this position, as several assignments and client dialogues take place in Swedish.
