Within the Product Development unit, you will get to work with product development of high-tech and intelligent products for the sustainable world of the future. The products come from all the industries that we at AFRY Connected Products work with currently:

Defense Medical technology Industrial technology Telecom Consumer products Automotive

Your workplace can either be at a customer site or at our office in Solna. With us, you get the opportunity to experience a variety of assignments and industries without having to change employers!

Qualifications

For this role, we are looking for someone who has experience in one or more of these areas:

• Electronics design
• PCB layout
• Embedded design
• ASIC / FPGA design

In addition to an academic education, we expect you to have good knowledge of English in speech and writing. It is a merit if you have good knowledge of Swedish. We expect that you are resident in Sweden.

Depending on which role you have experience in, we expect that you know one or more of the following:

• Digital design, but analog design and RF are also of interest, preferably tools such as Altium Designer and Cadence Allegro
• IP design and verification.
• Signal and power integrity, simulations, EMC, and preferably tools such as ADS, SIwave, HFSS, Hyperlynx.
• HW-level programming.
• Requirements management or systems engineering.
• Wireless communication, high-speed links, or similar.
• Troubleshooting, board bring-up, laboratory work.

Of course, we also place great emphasis on your personal qualities. As a consultant, it is important that you work independently and are used to taking your own initiative. Since many assignments are in collaboration with both customers and colleagues, you should also have good social skills and enjoy working in a group.

The assignment may be security classified, which means that you may be subject to a security clearance.
