Job Description Are you an experienced Data Engineer who enjoys building stable, scalable, and long-term sustainable data solutions in production? At AFRY Digital Services, we are now looking for senior Data Engineers for our team in Göteborg who want to work on technically challenging assignments where data engineering is business-critical. (This is not a BI role, but a role for you who wants to work closely with code, architecture, operations, and quality in modern data platforms)

Qualifications As a Data Engineer with us, you will work as a consultant on assignments where you participate in building, further developing, and managing data platforms and data flows used for analysis, decision support, and further digital development. You will work closely with other Data Engineers, Data Scientists, and software developers, and are responsible for ensuring that data flows function robustly, efficiently, and long-term in production. The assignments vary in length and scope, from major platform initiatives to more defined technical efforts, both locally and internationally. Examples of tasks Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines in Python Work with ETL/ELT flows, transformation, and data modeling Ensure data quality, validation, and testability in data flows Work with workflow orchestration (e.g., Airflow or similar) Build and operate solutions in cloud environments, primarily Microsoft Azure Contribute to CI/CD, version control, and monitoring of data flows Collaborate with colleagues and customers regarding requirements, architecture, and solution design

We are looking for you who have At least 3 years of experience as a Data Engineer in a production environment Very good knowledge of Python Good experience with SQL, databases, and data modeling Experience in building and maintaining scalable and robust data pipelines Experience with cloud-based data platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure Habit of working structured with Git, code review, and testing Ability to take responsibility for solutions all the way to stable operation

Meritorious Experience with Airflow, Dagster, or similar orchestration tools Azure services such as Data Factory, Databricks, or Synapse CI/CD solutions and DevOps practices for data flows Container technology (Docker, Kubernetes)

You need to be able to communicate professionally in English. Swedish is meritorious for this position, as several assignments and customer dialogues take place in Swedish.
