Plumbing Facilitators / Trainers

Facilitators and trainers play a key role in maintaining the practical, industry-relevant focus of ACTT’s programs.

Role Description This is an on-site Plumbing Facilitators / Trainers role based in Adenta. The role involves planning and delivering practical and theoretical plumbing training sessions aligned with ACTT’s curriculum and industry standards. Responsibilities include demonstrating safe and effective use of plumbing tools and materials, guiding trainees through installation, maintenance, and repair tasks, and supervising workshop activities to ensure safety and quality. The facilitator/trainer will assess learner performance, provide constructive feedback, and support continuous improvement of training materials and methods. Collaboration with other trainers, industry partners, and ACTT management to keep content current with emerging techniques and technologies is expected.

Qualifications

Strong practical and theoretical skills in Plumbing, including installation, troubleshooting, and system design. Experience working with Pipe systems, fittings, and related plumbing infrastructure. Proficiency in Maintenance & Repair and general Maintenance of plumbing systems and fixtures. Demonstrated Customer Service skills, including professionalism, clear communication, and respect for diverse learners. Previous experience as a vocational trainer, facilitator, or mentor in technical or trade-based education is highly desirable. Relevant technical certification, trade test, or diploma in plumbing or a closely related field. Ability to design lesson plans, use competency-based training methods, and assess learner skills objectively. Commitment to safety, adherence to industry standards, and willingness to model ethical and responsible technical practice. Strong interpersonal skills, reliability, and the ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural training environment
