Affinity Animal Hospital is currently seeking an enthusiastic Licensed Veterinary technician (RVT). In this role, you are tasked with a duty that's integral to our success!

Experience in small animal practice is required. We value a team approach to practicing quality veterinary medicine in a friendly atmosphere while maintaining a healthy work-life balance for all team members. Applicants will be working in all areas of the clinic.

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to;

• Covering reception duties such as preparing invoices and collecting payments, general administrative tasks and filing
• Providing excellent customer service to our clients both in person and over the phone
• Compassionate and competent patient care, handling and restraint
• Preparing laboratory samples, assisting in radiography and surgery as appropriate to level of training and experience
• General housekeeping duties
• Providing general assistance to the DVM and senior staff as required

Essential Skills and Qualifications

• Clinic environment experience is considered an asset
• Must be comfortable working with and handling large dogs and fractious cats
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a positive attitude
• Demonstrated organizational and time management skills with attention to detail

Must be flexible in terms of hours/days and be available for evenings & weekends. Most importantly, must be a positive people loving person who enjoys interacting with others!
