ECE2 Maintenance Manager / SLI Engineer (M/F)

AFF (Les Ateliers de Fabrication Ferroviaire) is an SME in the railway sector located in Somain, specializing in the transformation, renovation, and maintenance services of railway rolling stock: locomotives, passenger cars, urban transport, and main components. We are a human-sized company (80 employees), proud of the diversity of its profiles. What is our strength? Our motivation and the fact that we give meaning to our work! Somain is a few dozen kilometers from Valenciennes, Douai, and Lille. Our site is located a 10-minute walk from the Somain station. The project occupying us today consists of renovating/transforming a passenger train to turn it into a luxury hotel train running on the national rail network.

As part of the development of our activity, we are looking for an ECE2 Maintenance Manager / SLI Engineer M/F.

Reporting to the Technical Direction, you will lead the maintenance design and SLI activity for the rolling stock renovated and/or maintained by AFF.

The challenge of the position is to design and sustain maintenance that ensures the safety and reliability of operations, while controlling maintenance costs, in compliance with the ECE UE 2019/779 regulation.

Missions

• Develop and evolve preventive and curative maintenance plans and documents;
• Coordinate the drafting of operating procedures;
• Provide technical support to ECE3/ECE4 functions;
• Analyze anomalies and failures and define corrective/preventive actions;
• Utilize feedback and contribute to reliability improvement;
• Define needs for tools, parts, resources, and skills;
• Guarantee documentary traceability;
• Participate in maintaining ECE2 certification and in audits.

The profile sought

• Engineering training in maintenance, mechanics, electrotechnics, industrial engineering, or equivalent;
• Experience in maintenance, SLI, and/or railway;
• Mastery of maintenance/SLI tools: maintenance plans, task sheets, GMAO, BASL;
• Reading of AMDEC and electrical/pneumatic diagrams;
• Knowledge of ECE UE 2019/779 regulation, railway, and FMDS/RAMS activities;
• Technical English;
• Rigor, method, autonomy, adaptability, and team spirit.
