Operational Technical Support Engineer, Software Developers

We are looking for a Senior Technical Analyst who will be a key technical authority across Aevi's platforms. This is a senior individual role with a hands-on focus, in which you will lead complex technical investigations, resolve production incidents with critical business impact, and design technical solutions within a distributed payment systems environment.

You will act as an L3/L4 escalation point and work closely with Engineering, Architecture, Product, and Delivery teams, as well as external partners. Beyond problem-solving itself, you will mentor other analysts, improve internal processes, and actively contribute to platform stability and the technical quality of solutions.

Job Description -

Resolving complex incidents " Take responsibility for resolving complex incidents from start to finish " Lead Root Cause Analysis across distributed systems " Investigate issues affecting multiple platforms, APIs, logs, databases, and integrations " Propose corrective actions and technical recommendations " Support and mentor junior and medior analysts Advanced technical analysis " Work across payment platforms including payment processing, data flows, connector hosts, settlement, and reconciliation " Perform impact and risk analyses " Identify architectural weaknesses and opportunities for improvement Communication with customers and partners " Represent the Engineering team at customer workshops and during escalations " Validate assumptions and ensure scalable and long-term sustainable integration designs " Provide stakeholders with clear technical information, updates, and risk assessments Change Requests and Product Requests " Perform impact analysis and solution design " Facilitate technical workshops " Support development, QA, FAT/UAT testing, and pilot phases of projects Improving documentation quality " Maintain architectural overviews, data flow diagrams, and operational documentation (runbooks) " Set documentation quality standards within the analyst team

Required Experience and Skills

" Minimum 4 years of experience in a Technical Analyst position in fintech, banking, or complex distributed systems " Excellent knowledge of API, REST, JSON/XML, and troubleshooting microservices architectures " Experience with log analysis in an AWS environment (CloudWatch, ECS, EC2, S3) or Kubernetes " Knowledge of PCI DSS and ISO 20022 / ISO 8583 standards is an advantage " Strong analytical thinking and the ability to explain complex technical problems clearly " Experience with third-party solution integration in a fintech environment is highly valued " Czech and English at C1 level (spoken and written)
