Certification Engineer M/F

As part of our evolution, we are looking for an Aeronautical Approval Quality Engineer within our design office located in Toulouse.

Reporting to the systems department, your main role revolves around 3 key points:

• The technical review of aircraft and/or helicopter modification/repair projects, which may include leading the design team
• The preparation of the certification dossier (Certification Plan and Means of Compliance) in interaction with the CVE (Compliance Verification Engineer)
• Ideally, electrical and avionics expertise, including safety analysis activities

? Your missions:

• Design modifications on aircraft and/or helicopters: feasibility study, functional analysis, interface analysis, and analysis of existing architectures in order to design the avionic or mechanical system architecture, constituting the installation definition
• Prepare / Participate in technical meetings with clients and the various professions associated with the project
• Prepare the certification dossier including justifications and ground and flight test programs, in accordance with CS-25 requirements
• Develop the means of compliance within the framework of PART 21J standards and the DOA environment
• Perform Safety Analysis activities (FHA, PSSA, SSA)
• Create the service bulletin for transmitting information to the installation teams
• Create supplements to the flight manual and the maintenance manual
• Validate mechanical and electrical plans
• Create or monitor a schedule of topics including the production of parts and kits
• Travel to client sites, on aircraft
• In a second phase, exchange with authorities (DGA, EASA) as part of the review of certification dossiers

? You:

• Aeronautical Engineer (specialization in certification)
• Aeronautical knowledge of avionic, mechanical, and electrical systems
• Significant experience in the review of certification dossiers
• Good mastery of CS-25, PART 21J standards, and the DOA environment
• Knowledge of Safety Analysis
• Rigor, reactivity, and a strong team spirit
• Very good command of the English language
