YOUR TASKS

Project procurement in aerospace – where technical understanding, negotiation skills, and responsibility come together. Do you want to actively shape procurement projects and work closely with engineering and development? Then you have come to the right place.

• Responsibility for technical and strategic project procurement from requirement determination to timely procurement
• Selection, evaluation, and support of suppliers as well as conducting bid comparisons and price negotiations
• Procurement of technical components, assemblies, materials, and services for our demanding projects
• Close cooperation with Engineering, Project Management, Quality, and other specialist departments
• Analysis and optimization of existing purchasing and procurement processes
• Development and introduction of standardized, transparent, and digital purchasing processes
• Selection and implementation of suitable purchasing/procurement software as well as supporting its introduction in the company
• Building and further developing a structured supplier management including supplier evaluation
• Identification of savings potential, procurement risks, and optimization opportunities
• Development of suitable key performance indicators and structures for transparent and strategically oriented purchasing
• Creation and maintenance of purchasing and supplier documentation

YOUR PROFILE

You are an experienced buyer with:

• A completed degree, e.g., Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a comparable field, alternatively a corresponding commercial or technical training
• Several years of experience in technical and/or strategic procurement, ideally in project business
• Strong technical understanding and experience in the procurement of technically demanding products
• Experience in supplier management as well as in conducting bid comparisons and negotiations
• Experience in the optimization and digitalization of purchasing processes
• Ideally experience in the selection or introduction of purchasing, procurement, or ERP systems
• Ideally experience in aerospace or a comparable technological environment
• Good English skills in speaking and writing
• An independent, structured, and analytical way of working
• Strong negotiation skills, communication strength, and ability to work in a team
• Enjoyment in questioning existing processes and building new structures
