Project Manager R&D (electronics / embedded) (F/M)

We are looking for a person for the position of Project Manager R&D

Job Objective: To build and maintain a shared view of the R&D department's work, so that at any moment it is known what is in progress, who is working on what, what is most important, and what will happen if we add a new task. Decisions on priorities must be made quickly and consciously, and projects must be brought to completion.

Nice to have skills Previous work as an embedded engineer, electronics engineer, or tester. Experience in a small company (up to approx. 100 people). Knowledge of Kanban and working in GitHub, GitLab, or Jira. Experience with ISO 9001, product certification (CE, RED, FCC), or New Product Introduction (NPI). Daily tasks

• Building from scratch and developing a way to plan and track R&D work (development projects, product maintenance, customer tickets) in GitHub.
• Managing the portfolio of development projects: status, deadlines, risks, and dependencies between projects.
• Accepting new requests from customers, sales, production, and management, and preparing decision variants: who, when, and what will be delayed.
• Preparing and conducting a weekly priority meeting with management.
• Preliminary qualification of technical tickets from customers (bug, support, new feature, custom work) and directing them to the appropriate people or for quotation.
• Ensuring project closure: release, documentation, handover to maintenance.
• Maintaining a list of products in maintenance along with the responsible persons.
• Cooperation with engineers, production, purchasing, and sales.

Requirements

Min. 3 years of experience in project management or work coordination in a company designing and manufacturing electronics or devices. Experience in managing several projects in parallel. Experience in introducing a way of planning and tracking work in a team that did not have it before. Technical education or engineering experience that allows for discussions with hardware and firmware engineers about their work. Ability to clearly present variants and their consequences to decision-makers. English language at a minimum B2 level.
