Systems and Network Administrator (m/f)

Your tasks

Job Objective: To ensure the continuity, security, and development of the internal IT infrastructure, server and network systems, as well as providing ongoing technical support to employees and maintaining security standards.

• Maintenance and development of server infrastructure: virtualization (Proxmox VE), Linux servers, services in Docker containers, NAS, emergency power, monitoring;
• Backups and regular restoration tests;
• Corporate network: firewall, VLAN, VPN, Wi-Fi;
• User accounts and permissions, multi-factor authentication, corporate email and domains;
• Preparation and maintenance of business laptops and phones, equipment inventory;
• Assisting employees with IT matters, selection of hardware and software;
• Managing access to services supporting the company's products at customer sites (remote service access, MQTT broker);
• Maintaining security in accordance with ISO/IEC 27001: applying policies, periodic reviews, incident handling, employee training;
• Documenting configurations and procedures (infrastructure as code, Git).

Requirements

Nice to have

• Ansible, Terraform, Packer;
• Proxmox Backup Server;
• OPNsense / pfSense, OpenVPN or WireGuard;
• Tailscale or NetBird, MQTT (Mosquitto);
• Synology DSM, UPS with NUT;
• monitoring and central logs (Zabbix, Grafana, Loki, Graylog);
• basics of MSSQL and MySQL / MariaDB administration;
• Active Directory / Samba AD;
• reverse proxy (Caddy, nginx, Traefik) and TLS certificates;
• Python or PowerShell;
• experience with ISO/IEC 27001, audits or GDPR in practice;
• reasonable use of AI tools when working with configuration;
• certificates (e.g., LPIC, RHCSA, CCNA) – not required;
• interest in aviation, drones or electronics.

• min. 2–3 years of independent Linux server administration (Debian / Ubuntu) in a production environment;
• practical knowledge of virtualization (Proxmox VE, VMware or Hyper-V);
• Docker and Docker Compose in daily work;
• practical networking knowledge: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, firewalls, NAT, VPN;
• experience in backup planning and data recovery;
• Windows 10 / 11 configuration and user troubleshooting;
• working with Git;
• scripting in Bash;
• English at a level allowing reading technical documentation;
• independence, organized work, and a habit of documenting;
• ability to explain IT matters clearly to non-IT people.
