System Safety Engineer (m/w/d) AIRBUS (Engineer - Aerospace Engineering)

As a System Safety Engineer (m/w/d) in Manching, you will work on safety-relevant topics regarding systems, functions, and technical proofs. The role as a Safety Engineer, Systems Safety Engineer, or Safety Engineer combines analysis, documentation, and close coordination with various specialist departments.

• the execution of Safety Assessments (Functional Hazard Assessments and System Safety Assessments) for military aircraft and systems up to certification
• the creation and execution of risk analyses in accordance with applicable guidelines and standards to support continuous aircraft development, including Permit-to-Fly and type certification activities
• the execution of Common-Cause Analyses, particularly Particular Risk Analyses, Zonal Safety Analyses, and Common Mode Analyses
• the derivation, management, and documentation of safety requirements, safety proofs, safety procedures, and operating limitations, as well as coordination with adjacent specialist departments
• the co-design and further development of aircraft and system architectures, taking into account the required safety and integrity requirements
• the management and coordination of safety-relevant topics with internal and external stakeholders, including Engineering, Project Management, design teams, aviation authorities, industry partners, customers, and suppliers
• the review, approval, and application of supplier data in the field of Safety and Reliability

REQUIREMENTS:

We are looking for a technical profile with initial to advanced professional experience that thinks analytically and approaches topics related to system safety in a structured manner. You are a good fit for the position as a System Safety Engineer (m/w/d) if you can clearly classify safety requirements and work with different specialist departments.

• a completed degree in Aerospace, Natural Sciences, or a similar field
• professional experience in Systems Engineering
• business fluent English skills
